Axle Jack Test Stand
PAATCO - Aircraft Axle Jack Test Stand
Axle jack Test Stand A specialized triple-leg test stand has been designed and fabricated for the qualification testing of the main actuator and the calibration of the hydraulic system's relief valve. The following procedure outlines the test methodology.
The core component under test, the Main Actuator, is positioned within the test stand's structure. The stand itself consists of a lower circular platen and an upper assembly that houses the load cells. These two primary elements are connectedand rigidly supported by three structural legs, creating a robust and stable frame capable of withstanding high compressive loads. The actuator is carefully staged between the lower platen and the upper load cell housing. A critical prerequisite for the test is the precise central alignment of the main actuator within the test stand's circumference. This ensures a pure axial load is applied, preventing any side loads or bending moments that could compromise test accuracy or damage the equipment.
